Job Description:

Our client in Windsor is seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Nurse, to fill in their ad hoc shifts on a daily/weekly basis.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct nursing care to patients with a range of medical conditions.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, recording vital signs and symptoms.
- Administer medications, treatments, and injections as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Perform nursing procedures and assist in diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure a high standard of care.
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Ensure proper documentation of patient records, including progress notes and medication administration.
- Provide emotional support and advice to patients and their families, answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients at all times.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols, infection control standards, and legal and ethical guidelines.
- Stay updated on medical procedures, nursing practices, and healthcare trends through continuous professional development.
