• NO REMOTE WORKING
• ASAP – for 2-3 Months
• 30 hours over Mon-Fri, shift days and times flexible
• Qualified Occupational Therapist with experience working in the community with children
• NEEDS TO BE A CAR DRIVER
Job Description -
To be responsible for a clinical caseload and to develop and provide a specialist paediatric occupational therapy service, undertaking assessment, interpretation of assessment results, evaluation, treatment, and advice. ·
To carry out assessments and evaluate the child’s occupational performance through, e.g. the use of standardised and non-standardised assessments, observation, interview with parent or carer and/or parent and teacher questionnaires. ·
To develop, plan and implement specialist Occupational Therapy treatment programme and strategies to enhance the child’s ability to perform everyday activities and participate in multiple environments through, e.g. verbal and written advice and recommendations, written advice sheets, individual treatment and/or group therapy.
To assess the child's need for small aids and specialist equipment ( e.g. specialist seating, bath aids and toilet aids), advise and recommend/provide appropriate equipment for use at home, pre-school and school, in line with service criteria.
